Terms and Conditions

N&P Policies


These terms and conditions form part of your agreement with N&P Badminton Club.Please make sure that you read them carefully and understand them. If you have any questions, please ask us for clarification.

1. Once the term has been paid for, we cannot offer any refund should your child discontinue with the rest of the term.

2. If we cancel any sessions due to court availability in the term paid, we will forward any credit towards the next terms payment. However, should your child not wish to continue to the next term, we need to be given 6 weeks notice that your child will not continue in the following term and only then a refund will be given after the term ends for the cancelled sessions. 

3. Should your child not be able to attend a session in the term paid, no refund will be given. If there's been an injury or sickness then we will require a GP's letter for us to freeze the fees for the number of weeks as per GP letter.

4. Those signing up to the Cedars sessions, there will be No half term break and there will be 1 or 2 weeks break in Apr for Easter and 3 weeks break in Aug and 2/3 weeks break during Christmas (depending on court availability and discretion of the club organisers). 

5. If you wish for your child to take a trial session this can be done at a fee of £12-15 depending on 1hr/1.5hr session.

The club organisers reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.

Additional Policies

We expect all our club members to adhere to the following Code of Conduct, outlined by Badminton England.

1. I will have fun, act in a safe manner and encourage those around me to do the same.

2. I will always respect those around me including team-mates, opponents, coaches and officials.

3. I will be honest and play fairly in everything I do and never deliberately cheat or be dishonest.

4. I will accept officials’ decisions without question or complaint.

5. I will arrive for training and competition on time and will inform someone if I am unable to attend or will be late.

6. I will listen carefully when spoken to and act as directed where appropriate.

7. I will use the correct equipment ( including indoor shoes) for the sport and will look after it to the best of my ability.

8. I will never upset those around me or keep quiet if someone else is being upset.

9. I will congratulate all participants on their performance regardless of the game’s outcome.

10. I will give my opponents a hand if they need it and accept apologies from them when they are offered.

11. I will always do my best and give 100% effort in whatever I do.

12. As a young person taking part in sporting activities I recognise that I am an ambassador for my sport and others taking part in sport.
